On June 14-16, 2002 I am going on a journey. I will be participating in the Avon 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk. I am going to walk 60 miles. Am I crazy? No….. Determined? Yes…. This is going to be one of the biggest challenges of my life. However, there are millions of women facing a much greater challenge… Breast Cancer.

One out of every 8 women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer this year. Many women are going through their daily lives with undetected Breast Cancer. I am determined to help women and men become more aware of the dangers of undetected Breast Cancer.

In addition to walking 60 miles, I need to raise a minimum of $1900 to be able to participate in this great event. My personal goal is $3000. A donation from you, your friends and family will help me participate in an event that will bring attention to the need for research and treatment for an issue that has created tremendous suffering in the world.
